Eligibility Overview

  • Educational: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent for Officer posts; for some specialist posts (Scale-II), prescribed qualifications apply.
  • Age Limit: Varies by post — generally 18–28/30/40 years depending on scale and category. Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government norms.
  • Nationality: Indian citizen / subject of Nepal / Bhutan / Tibetan refugee / Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.

Refer to the official notification for post-wise educational qualifications (especially for Officer Scale-II Specialist posts).

Application Fee

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹850 (for both PO + Clerk combined, if applicable) — check official schedule for exact breakup.
  • SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: ₹175 (or as notified).

Fees must be paid online. Exact fee structure & exemptions are listed in the notification.

Selection Process

  1. Officer Scale-I: Prelims → Mains → Interview
  2. Office Assistant: Prelims → Mains
  3. Officer Scale-II & III: Single level exam (Mains) → Interview (where applicable)

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official IBPS registration portal and create a user ID with valid email & mobile.
  2. Fill the online application form with personal, educational and experience details.
  3. Upload scanned photograph, signature and other required documents as per specifications.
  4. Pay the application fee and submit the form. Save & print the application acknowledgement.
